Course Objective

In this course, parameters effecting importation and exportation of Türkiye's and the world's natural stones and their condition from past to today is discussed. Natural stones' marketing trends will be discussed.

3 Basic concepts about foreign trade, procedures in exportation.
4 Natural stone products and characteristics.
5 Forms of exportation in natural stone trading and marketing strategies.
6 Importance of fairs in foreign trade.
7 Midterm exam, st homework submission
8 State benefits and promotes in natural stone trading
9 Marketing problems from quarry to last product
10 National and international standarts in natural stone.
11 Quality control in natural stone production
12 Total quality and costs.
13 Natural stone trading legislation
14 Terms and conditions of natural stone exportation, 2nd homework submission
