Course Objective

The content of this course provides an introductory approach for students to understand elements and principles of architectural design. This course aims at developing the talents of students in architectural design

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the students, will be able to define the qualities of architectural space,
2   will be able to express form and space relations,
3   will be able to describe the principles of architectural design,
4   will be able to interpret human needs affecting design,
5   will be able to analyze the architectural forms and relationships.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This course will be given through lectures aided by visual material and the students will learn topics by attending and listen to the lectures. Homework /assignments will be prepared in accordance with the course content and presented by the students.
