Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to cover initially the analytical methods for understanding the industrial development as a basis for urbanization and then to develop necessary back ground for the students to think about the bureaucratization and centralization. The process of such a study requires detailed analysis of potentials of a urban region. Process of urban planning is subject to discussions in comparison to national planning and the concept of economical growth is also needed to be over viewed. Therefore industrial development and the problem of industrial location and clustering are to be analyzed in regional context. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
This course will be given through studio practices. Students will learn topics by attending and practising the planning studio. Planning problems will be given to students in the 1st Week and they will be asked to prepare their solutions on the problems given to them. |
