Course Objective |
The course is based on theoretical lectures and two presentations to be prepared by students during the term. The presentations will be prepared on the basis of literature published in the last two decades. The main purpose is to provide students basic oceanographic properties of the Turkish seas and their roles on the prevailing ecological conditions. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course is based on a comparative approach onthe fundamentals of marine ecology and the ecological properties of Turkish seas. Students will prepare and present two presentations on the selceted topics related with the rationale of the course. Each presentation will be discussion in the class. |
