Course Objective |
There are lots of computer programs available in market today doing optimization on both open-pit and underground mining. The main logic behind all the programs are almost the same. In this lecture, first of all, students are given the basic idea about the computer applications in mining industry step by step. The topics of modelling the ore body, borehole interpolations techniques, geological data analysis, mine plan and scheduling and simulations will be covered in the scope of this lecture. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
