Course Objective |
The main purpose of the lecture is to define the concepts of system analysis and its applications to the water resources system planning and operations. This course provides an overview of the system analysis techniques used in the field of water resources. System analysis and optimization methods such as linear programming, nonlinear programming and dynamic programming and their applications to water resources systems such as water supply, irrigation and hydropower will be covered. |
