Course Objective

The aim of the seminar is to enable and encourage the students to do literature search on a given or selected topic, to give them the opportunity to learn synthesizing the information gathered from the searched literature, to analyze, interpret and discuss the findings in the light of available literature, to compile the results in the form of a report and to submit them before an audience.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Search literature to do a detailed research on a given or selected subject.
2   Apply ethical rules that should be followed during a scientific study.
3   Present the obtained results in written, oral and visual ways.
4   Analyze and evaluate the data with proper scientific methods.
5   Prepare scientific report.

Students are assessed by their study on literature survey on the topic, data collection, compilation, analysis and reporting on the results and their ability to report on the subject prepared by the end of the term and the presentation of the report.
