Course Objective

The aim of this course is to define the basic definitions of intrinsic geometry of surfaces.

1   will be able to understand shape operators
2   will be able to understand normal and gaussian curvatures
3   will be able to learn isometries and the local isometries
4   will be able to define the intrinsic geometry of surfaces
5   will be able to define isometric invariants
