Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the physical foundations of current medical devices and methods in the health sector.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to measure and convert between units
2   To be able to solve problems using mechanical (Speed, acceleration, etc.) force, moment, Newton's Laws of Motion
3   To be able to give examples of applications of electromagnetic radiation types in the field of biomedicine.
4   To be able to use the laws of optics to explain the subjects related to the field.
5   To be able to use acoustic, biological hearing and sound knowledge to explain the subjects related to the field.
6   To be able to explain the physical principles and laws that form the basis of radiological imaging methods.
7   To be able to explain the usage areas of radioactivity.
8   To be able to explain biomechanical applications with physics knowledge
