Course Objective

The concept of imaging, medical imaging types, Ultrasonic imaging, conventional x-ray equipment parts and method of operation, endoscopic visualization, cold light sources, medical monitors, cameras and video processors, film development equipment operation and failure to teach subjects.

3   Resolve failures of Traditional (Conventional) x-ray equipment.
4   Fix failures of Endoscopic viewer.

1 General introduction to Medical Imaging Devices and Systems used in medicine
2 Electromagnetic radiations and X-Rays used as energy sources in medical devices and their production. Harms of X-rays and protection methods
3 X-ray Physics, structure and properties of the X-ray tube and types of X-ray tube
4 Obtaining a Radiological Image and the working principle of Conventional X-ray devices
5 Beam limiter (Collimation) and grids in X-Ray devices
6 Conventional X-Ray Devices Installation and fault solutions, Film Processing Devices,
7 Transition from Conventional X-Ray Devices to Digital X-Ray devices. CR systems
8 Midterm exam
9 Digital X-ray devices DR systems
10 Installation and malfunction solutions of digital X-ray devices and DR systems
11 Dynamic Image with X-ray: Fluoroscopy and Angiography
12 Working principle and malfunctions of mammography devices
13 Sound Wave and Physics, Reflection, Refraction, Scattering and Attenuation and Doppler
14 Structure and types of Piezoelectric Effect and Transduction Ultrasonography
15 Working principle of ultrasonography, Ultrasound Modes, Accessories of ultrasonic imagers.
