Course Objective

Students will understand the working principles of Life Support Devices organized to provide maintenance and repair.

1 Definition of life-support devices, applications, and operating principles
2 Identify the need for software update and install the Update software. Function / supplementary function tests
3 Electrical-electronic failures of patient monitors of the ECG device
4 ECG device and bedside monitor mechanical and special failures
5 Electrical Shock Defibrillator- Pacemaker systems electrical failures
6 Electroshock Defibrillator - Electronic failures and special failures of pacemaker systems
7 Understanding and repairing nebulizer devices
8 midterm exam
9 Incubator devices electrical-electronic and mechanical failures
10 Mechanical failures of dialysis machines
11 Electrical-electronic failures and special failures of dialysis devices
12 Electrical-electronic and mechanical failures of oxygen concentrator
