Course Objective

It s aimed to teach students thephysical and electrical measurement techniques in this lesson.

4   4. To be able to explain the basic conditions of measuring electrical quantities.

1 Measurement, measurement units, fundamental electrical quantities.
2 Measurement faults and its classification.
3 Electrical quantities, units and conversions.
4 Working principals and stuructures of measurement tools.
5 Voltage and current measurement in DC.
6 Measurement of different quantities in AC.
7 DC and AC measurement applications
8 Midterm
9 Ohmmeters.
10 Structure of electrodynamic measurement tools and Wattmeters.
11 Electrical power and power factor, and their measurements of in single phase AC.
12 Power measurements in balanced and unbalanced 3 phase loads.
13 Structure of oscilloscope and its use in measuring different quantities.
14 Structure of oscilloscope and its use in measuring different quantities.
15 Structure of oscilloscope and its use in measuring different quantities.
