Course Objective

Course objective is to explore the mission, function and purpose of the Notary Law, its place in legal system, relations with other legal branches, its basic principles, historical process, sources, and application of its rules within the scope of notary law science principles.
Notarial profession, rules, roles and responsibilities (notaries agency, circumference, Notary Chambers - Duties, Türkiye Union of Notaries - duties, notaries classification, admission to the profession, the notary office and staff, prohibitions and obligations of notaries, notary duties (general and special), procedures to be followed notary forms, notary to document proving the power of the transactions, the legal responsibilities of notaries)

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Having basic information on notary law within the frame of Notary Code provisions.
2   Being competent of application of the information on notary law
3   Rights and responsibilities of the notary
4   Behaving accordingly with the knowledge of notary's responsibilities
5   Behaving accordingly with notarial profession
