Course Objective

This course aims to keep statistical records in health institutions, to create the basic statistical culture required for health sciences, and to teach basic statistics and analysis to be used in the field of health in the necessary content for medical secretariat candidates.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the use of biostatistics in health services.
2   Defines the basic concepts of biostatistics.
3   Knows which statistics can be used by using the data emerging in health services.
4   Knows frequency distributions and descriptive criteria.
5   Knows which significance test will be used in the statistical evaluation of a research in the field of health.
6   Can present health care data and research data by making tables and graphs.
