Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students about the social security system in Turkey
and in this context, health. Is to develop a general understanding of health insurance.
Defining information and the role of insurance in health financing, country Examining
the applications of private and social health insurance in Turkey. Evaluation of its
development. Health insurance and contracted institutions in the course. The problems
between obtaining is provided.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The concept of social security will be defined.
2   The historical development of social security systems in our country will be explained.
3   Will be able to define the definition and development of health insurance.
4   Health insurance types and comparison can be made.
5   Social insurance and general health insurance development in Turkey will be explained.

Midterm exam 50%, Final Exam / Make-up 50%. 60 or more out of a hundred at the end of
