Course Objective |
Although it is preferred that historical buildings be conserved with their initial uses, the changing social and living conditions from time to time make this impossible and they may be considered with their secondary use. The scope of the course is to examine samples of buildings considered with their secondary use and to discuss criteria in assigning uses. The suitability of the new function to the building in different contexts and the success of the restoration are discussed. |
