Course Objective

This course aims the most efficient use of natural sources in accordance with the cultural demands and requirements in the longest period, recognition of landscape planning in the content of national physical planning for conversation of the natural/ecological balance of the national landscape, and examination of integration opportunities of landscape planning within the theoretical and institutional planning structure.

3   Recognize the importance of upper-scale approach to nature conservation,
4   Distinguish the importance of a holistic approach to nature protection,
5   Criticize the current planning system in the context of nature conservation,

1 Introduction to landscape planning: Description and scope of the course and studies on the basic concepts of the course.
2 What are the general features of nature
3 Natural ecosystem, cultural ecosystem close to nature and cultural ecosystem
4 Anthropogenic environmental change stages depending on the social development.
5 Interpretations of nature in the birth of modernism
6 Relationship between nature-space and urban planning in industrialization and urbanization processes
7 MIDTERM EXAM
8 The city as an urban-industrial ecosystem, qualitative deterioration in ecological factors, general breakdown of environmental problems and the relationship of ecological problems with urbanization
9 Conceptual examination of environmental protection and nature protection approachesecological problems with urbanization
10 The concept of biological-ecological environmental protection and its relationship with planning, the concept of technological-hygienic environmental protection and its relationship with planning
