Course Objective

The aim of the internship II is to gain knowledge and experience in textile raw materials, the production methods of textile products, production flows and machine parks, business management, maintenance and quality control systems, product and production planning, production and work organization and labor management issues. The students perform the internship for 30 days in a preferred textile area.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To improve the knowledge gained in textile engineering education period practically 2   To examine in detail how the production planning and control performs 3   To examine the raw materials and auxiliary materials of the product 4   To explain the properties and the technological levels of the machines used in the production 5   The ability to write internship reports with an objective approach

Course Contents

Week Subject Description 1 The information about the textile company are summarized, such as company name, address, date of establishment, number of employees etc. 2 The product types should be analyzed in detail. 3 The quality control system and the documentation should be observed and analysed in the company. 4 Actively participate in the production process and quality control activities. Sample sheets and forms should be added into internship report. 5 Brands and the trademarks of the products on the market, the technical characteristics and application areas should be involved. 6 Practical activities are performed under control of the company authorities.
