Course Objective

The main goal of this internship is to have students to clarify their career interests by attending different hardware or software projects carried out on true corporations depending on their selection.

Week Subject Description
1 Corporation and its rules. Basic concepts of software development processes.
2 Determination of the problem and solution development.
3 Information about the project being assigned. To realize the assigned tasks.
4 Coding of the project. Working with assigned project groups and customers.
5 Coding of the project. Working with assigned project groups and customers (continued).
6 Coding of the project. Working with assigned project groups and customers (continued).
7 Preparing test procedures. Project testing.
8 Project presantation. Preparation of internship report and approvement of the report.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

There will be a internship report at the end of the duration. Attendance to the internship is a prerequisite to intership report evaluation.

Assessment Criteria

Internship outcomes will be evaluated with the reports prepared by the student. Depending on the work realized at the corporation, evaluation is done by weekly basis.

Course Policies and Rules

Full-time attendance to the training is required. Depending on the attendence periods, training duration will be evaluated. All students must obey all the rules of the corporation at which they work. At the end of the training, a training report must be prepared as the given format and submitted to the department training commission by the end of the first month of the semester.
