Course Objective

The Internet of Things (IoT) is more than a smart or connected device. This course will show you what the IoT is and how it works in technical terms. The main aim of the course is to provide a basis for the usage, communication and security of Internet of things that are becoming more common. In addition to this, technical and conceptual structures will be explained about the cloud-based large data structures formed by many Internet of things and the analysis processes of large data.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the general principles of IoT and to develop applications,
2   Become familiar with the techniques and tools for automated capturing, processing, classifying and organizing knowledge,
3   To be able to develop web technologies, information acquisition and efficient deployment, using the ioT components in network and cloud-based business environments,
4   Understand the importance of cloud computing with ioT and its importance in various organizations,
5   To understand the general operating principles of sensors used for iot and to develop applications using different data communication methods
