                     To introduce the students of mechanical engineering English as a foreign language to be used throughout their career. To present a broad introduction to the language and terminology of mechanical engineering. To give the students knowledge on how machines / mechanisms work and the principles they depend on. To enable students to understand, predict, describe, explain and compare their ideas in English.  |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |

                         Students attend classes prepared to the subject beforehand. The class is mostly carried out by students by translating texts or answering questions / doing exercises, with the lecturer explaining the necessary items. Students are graded according to their midterm and class participation performance. Subjects are supported by up to date documents and videos.  |
