Course Objective

The objectives of the course are to provide the essentials of mechanics, control and software for automation and robotic systems with an integrated approach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To construct solid models of automation and robotic systems
2   To perform kinematic, kinetic and finite element analyses in automation and robotic systems
3   To know sensors and actuators and control components in automation and robotic systems
4   To develop PLC or PC based software in automation and robotic systems
5   To know applications in automation and robotic systems
