Course Objective

Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to bring together senior guests from distinguished companies from main sectors such as Defense, Automotive, Production and Energy, representing many different disciplines of Mechanical Engineering, with young engineer candidates who are preparing to complete their education. Throughout the course, the industry's expectations from young engineers are emphasized.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about developments in engineering approaches and expectations from young engineers in developing world
2   Raising awareness of the importance of communication skills and teamwork in industry
3   Acquiring an awareness of professional and ethical responsibility and the standards used in mechanical engineering applications
4   To have information about business management such as project management, risk management and change management, entrepreneurship, awareness about innovation, and sustainable development.
5   Awareness of the legal consequences of engineering solutions
