Course Objective

Basic mapping information, set up a background about 2 and 3-D drawing and design of geophysical data.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to name the basic concepts of maps
2   To be able to draw graphs and contour maps of functions of one and two variables
3   To be able to map topographical and geophysical data
4   To be able to digitize maps and to prepare cross sections from maps
5   To be able to design two and three dimensional maps
