Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce students the theory and the practice of Revenue Management. In this course, the main methodologies in different areas will be explained, different approaches to solve single resource and network capacity control models and current practices in different industries will be reviewed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define and understand revenue management and pricing concepts
2   To be able to solve dynamically revenue management problems with different methods in the literature
3   To express and solve revenue management problems through mathematical modeling
4   To be able to control capacity with bid price control
5   To be able to do homework/projects on the subjects related to the course content, according to the instructions given
