Course Objective

The aim of this course is to design and implement quality planning, control and improvement processes in production, with the help of statistical process control techniques and comprehensive statistical knowledge, taking into account technological developments. Therefore, it is to increase students' engineering and management skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To inform students about quality and total quality management regarding the design and implementation of quality planning, control and improvement processes in production according to professional ethics and standards.
2   Students can perform statistical process control
3   Students can apply and interpret standard acceptance sampling plans
4   Students able to use and interpret Statistical Process Control Charts
5   Students able to use process improvement
6   Students able to use design of experiment
7   Ability to prepare, report and present the project regarding the course content according to the instructions.
