Course Objective |
The comprehensive course on Geospatial Assessments on Environmental Sustainability is designed to equip prospective students with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage geospatial technologies for evaluating, monitoring, and promoting sustainable environmental practices. Participants will explore the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), and spatial analysis techniques to address complex environmental challenges, enabling them to contribute to a greener and more sustainable world within a nexus-understanding of all interacting environmental concerns and components. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
All registered students are expected to attend the lectures and practical sessions. Lecture presentations are made during lecture hours and hand-outs are distributed to the attendees. Software-based recitation sessions are organized for promoting student capacities for performing stand-alone analyses and assessments. Exams and homework/presentation assignments are basically used for evaluating and grading student proficiencies. |
