Course Objective

The aim of the folk dancing course is to introduce local, regional, national and international dance cultures, to contribute to the development of self-confidence by improving the aesthetic aspects, creativity and abilities of the students through dance.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To get students adopt the abilities of listening, simulation, dancing, playing, creating, criticizing, like and dislike,
2   2. To develope communication skills
3   3. To learn to share as a result of teamwork
4   4. To develop their creative skills
5   5. To being mentally, spiritually and emotionally aware individuals with the achievements of dancing with music
6   6. To take responsibility and protect their belongings with the use of costumes
7   7. To be able to embrace the value given to national and universal music and folk dances
