Course Objective

To interpret the developement of modern production management systems and explain production management systems in manufacturing businesses, to commentate their application and execution in businesses in the context of system approach in production and operations management science field.

1   To be able to comprehend system concept of production and operations management
2   To be able to explain the developement of production systems related to the business requirements
3   To be able to relate Fordist and post-Fordist production systems
4   To be able to interpret frequently used concepts in production systems

6   To be able to decide production system as an effective tool of competition for production executives
