Course Objective

The aim of the course is to comprehend the main objectives of the finance function in businesses and to evaluate the application areas of this function from a broad perspective.

1   Listing the basic functions of finance.
2   Understanding the importance of finance in corporations,
3   Classifiyng the short and long term financial resources.
4   Understandinf the concepy of the time value of money
5   Calculating the cost of capital on corporations.
6   Having a knowledge about the importance of investment and profit-sharing decisions.
7   Analysing the balance sheet and income statement by ratio anaysis method.
