Course Objective |
This course aims to introduce the evolving nature of international organizations within the broader context of changing international relations. It will analyze the role of international organizations in international relations. It will then concentrate on both governmental and non-governmental international organizations that play an increasingly prominent role to resolve a wide range of global problems. The course will identify various types of international organizations (mainly UN, NATO and EU) and discuss the important characteristics of each under the classification of international security, regional security, social and humanitarian issues, development and environment. |
