Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide a general view of maritime law. The course focuses on advanced topics such law of sea especially maritime zones, and maritime labour law and ensure them to attribute relation between application and maritime law norms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identifying national and international norms related with maritime
2   Implementing the norms and the maritime application by analysing legal cases
3   Attributing daily international maritime problems
4   Critizing the applications regarding maritime problems
5   Describe the context and functions of maritime regulations
6   Identifing the coastal states rights in maritime zones
