Course Objective

To have knowledge about emergence and development of cities and about the views of intellectuals regarding the development of cities; learn how the early cities were developed; to comprehend the Islamic urban development with characteristics regarding the emergence and development process

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will evaluate the emergence and expansion of Islamic urban and the view of Islamic intellectuals regarding establishment of Islamic urban
2   will get knowledge about early Islamic urban
3   will put forward some evaluations and determinations concerning the place of Islamic urban development in the history of general urban development.
4   will analyze the factors supporting the characteristics of Islamic urban development
5   will determine the progress of Islamic urban development by evaluating its contemporary situation
