Course Objective

To explain and teach the general principles of IT law, basic concepts and rules, the relationship of the field of IT law with other branches of science, public law and private law.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the basic concepts of IT law.
2   To be able to explain the relationship of IT law with other disciplines other than law.
3   To be able to compare public law and private law rules in the field of IT law.
4   To be able to examine the contribution of human rights law, international law and organisations in the field of IT law.
5   To be able to apply the rules of IT law to cases in judicial and administrative judiciary.

1 General informations about the goal of the course and the contents of the course; Giving information about the processing method of the course; Giving materials related to the processing of course.
2 The concept of IT law and its historical development and relationship of IT law with other disciplines.
3 The place of IT law in the systematic of legal science.
4 Internet law within the framework of IT law.
5 Basic regulations on IT law within the framework of human rights and international law.
6 Social media and its regulation.
7 Artificial Intelligece (AI) within the framework of the regulatory activity of the administration.
8 AI and the responsibility of the administration
9 Basic regulations on the protection of personal data in IT law.
10 Cyber security with the dimension of information law.
11 Internet law and administrative sanctions.
12 Current developments in IT law and general evaluation.
