Aims to teach classical Greek language.

1   At the end of this course, student will gain classical Greek epigraphical capacity.
2   They will learn Greek numismatics.
3   They will learn classical Greek literature.
4   They will also learn Greek paleography.

2 Classical Greek epigraphy 2: Common words.
3 Classical Greek epigraphy 3: Rules and punctiations.
4 Classical Greek numismatics 1: Greek and Roman periods.
5 Classical Greek numismatics 2: Byzantine period.
6 Ancient Greek epigraphy 1
7 Ancient Greek epigraphy 2
8 Midterm exam.
9 Field trip.
10 Classical Greek paleography.
11 Classical Greek literature 1: Homer and Archaic period.
12 Classical Greek literature 2: Classical and Hellenistic periods.
13 Classical Greek literature 3: Roman and Byzantine periods.
14 Ancient Greek epigraphy 3
15 Ancient Greek epigraphy 4
16 Final exam.

Basic publications concerning ancient Greek epigraphy, literature, numismatics and paleography.
