Course Objective

The aim is to know techniques and methods of restoration used in protection of archaeological heritage, to detect of corruption and to gain a critical approach and conduct a study.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   learn principles and laws for protection of archaeological and historic buildings with the learning of national and international agencies working on this issue,
2   have theoretical knowledge about properties of building materials and deterioration process of structures,
3   learn the terminology of conservation for review on current practices,
4   evaluate the problems based on their position, types or structure of materials,
5   conduct an advanced work independently and the skills critically,
