Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach how to collect data and develop the right study design in order to analyze the linguistic features of human languages.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 analyze the structural differences between languages.
2   2 make crosslinguistic micro-level linguistic analysis.
3   3 collect verbal and written data on a specific subject from the target language.
4   4 interpret the target language data within the framework of a given grammatical subject.
5   5 present a typological classification based on the available data on the target language.
