To give information about the scope and principles of green chemistry and to explain usage areas.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain the scope, purpose and sustainability of green chemistry.
2   Explain the principles of green chemistry, renewable resources and make related calculations.
3   Establish a relationship between green chemistry and environment, health and safety. Explain green chemicals and catalysts.
4   Explain green and safe synthesis design, reaction conditions, bioprocesses and application areas of green chemistry.
