Course Objective

The main objective of this course is to compare in terms of general behaviors and classify elements in periodic table and to express the differences of nonmetals, semimetals and metals.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to name and classify the elements in the periodic table. Can explain the locations of the elements.
2   Industrial and commercial names and reactions of nonmetal compounds must be able to write.
3   Can determine the properties and usage areas of metals and their industrial and commercial names.
4   Can write compounds and reactions of metals.
5   It can express the differences of nonmetals, metals and semi-metals.
