Course Objective

This course aims to describe a scientific research problem, to collect data with a plan and produce the required solutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student can list and define research methods that can be used to investigate a topic of interest.
2   Can choose and explain the correct analytical method for solving a problem.
3   Can perform and understand research involving theoretical and experimental-based methods for a chemical analysis.
4   Plan a chemical analysis, match the samples with the method, interpret the method, perform calculations for the results, compare the results with other methods. Can present the arranged results as a report.
5   Knows ethical values and requirements in chemistry and research.
