Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide students with scientific terminology in the field of chemistry in English. Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to enable students to translate an English text on chemistry into Turkish and a Turkish text into English, write reports in English and make presentations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the student; will be able to translate an English text on chemistry into Turkish.
2   At the end of this course, the student; will be able to translate a Turkish text on chemistry into English.
3   At the end of this course, the student; will be able to prepare a report in English that includes the basic procedures applied in laboratories for the field of chemistry.
4   At the end of this course, the student; can make a presentation in English on a subject related to the field of chemistry.
