Course Objective

The course aims to provide the better understanding of quantum mechanics by chemists.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have knowledge about what classical mechanics does not correctly
2   Realize the expanding role of quantum chemistry
3   To able to discuss the theorems of quantum mechanics.
4   To be able to apply the principles of quantum mechanics to chemical systems.
5   Have knowledge on a quantum mechanical treatment of atomic structure and chemical bonding, and atomic and molecular spectroscopy.
