Course Objective

The course aims at providing Primary School students with a sound mathematical development that complies with their own developmental characteristics and the outcomes defined in the program.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Fractions and fractions of fractions.
2   To plan and apply fractions types, fractions comparison and sorting activities.
3   To plan and implement activities that can improve the technique of operations with fractions and decimal fractions.
4   Plan and implement activities that will lead to possible misconceptions in fractions.
5   To be able to comprehend the development of geometric thinking in children.
