Course Objective

Developing and using skills related to teaching physical education and games for candidates of primary school teachers

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to movement education and exercise.
2   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to physical education and motor skills.
3   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to classroom games.
4   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to physical education class
5   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to basic motor skills (walking, running, balance, crawling, catch and throw, climbing, lifting and carrying etc.) and gymnastics (exercises for head, shoulder, arms, trunk, hips, abdomen etc.).
6   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to exercises with ball, hoop and stick.
7   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to exercises with bench, rope, fence, and couples.
8   Using the knowledge effectively and correctly related to outdoor games.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 The theoretical structure of game and physical activity lesson curriculum will be given. Concepts and types of movement, exercise, and application of outdoor games
2 Concepts and classifications of motor skill, physical education, and application of outdoor games
3 practices related to primary school game and physical activities course Knowledge of classroom games and application of outdoor games
4 Knowledge of physical education class and application of outdoor games
5 Basic motor skill in physical education (walking, running, balance, crawling, catch and throw, climbing, lifting and carrying etc.) and application of outdoor games
6 Basic exercises of gymnastics (head, shoulder, arms, trunk, hips, abdomen etc.) and application of outdoor games
7 Coupled exercises and application of outdoor games
8 General review, course evaluation, midterm exam
9 educational and musical games, examples of modern folk dances Exercises with ball and application of outdoor games
10 Exercises with rope and application of outdoor games
