Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make Turkish Language and Literature teacher candidates feel the place and importance of youth literature in Turkish Language and Literature Education in general, to make students perceive the closeness between the field of youth literature and Turkish Language and Literature teaching, to comprehend the relationship between educational science and youth literature.

1   Understands the place and importance of youth literature in Turkish Language and Literature education.
2   Recognizes the types of youth literature.
3   Recognizes youth literature poets and writers.
4   Plan a lesson using the knowledge of youth literature.
5   Can create a selection of quality youth books.
