To examine elementary Turkish textbooks in terms of relevant criteria.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Examine critical aspects of learning and teaching in the context of Turkish textbooks.
2   Comprehend, in behaviorist and constructivist framework, shows how a change in terms of form and content of Turkish textbooks and the importance of this change.
3   Knows main characteristics of Turkish textbooks
4   Determine characteristics of Turkish textbooks (form and content)
5   Assess student work book and teacher guide book.
