Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Strategies, methods and techniques used in the teaching of Turkish
2 Teaching strategies (Methodology of presentation, discovery teaching, research, teaching through the line), cooperative learning, mastery learning. Teaching methods (expression, group work, problem solving, discussion, project study)
3 Teaching Techniques: lecture, brainstorming, buzz group, debate, forum, discussion circle, six thinking hats technique, concept maps.
4 Teaching Techniques: reading poetry, demonstration, question and answer, case study, observation trip, role play, drama and simulation.
5 Basic principles of writing training: subject, title, main idea, paragraph and paragraph types.
6 Types of Writing: Descriptive, narrative, credible, comparative analysis, sharing and interrogative planned burning. Basic principles of writing training: note-taking, summarizing, writing studies.
7 Spelling and punctuation rules according to class level
8 General repeat, evaluation, midterm exam
9 The properties in listen/ followed content
10 Behavior to be taught in terms of listening/ monitoring technique. Listening, monitoring, objectives and achievements
11 Examples of writing event: Brainstorming, concept mapping, class newspaper, writing story and legend, screenplay writing, round table writing, dialogue writing, essays, Zamanla Geçer Her şey, Müziğin Gölgesindeki Yazılar ve Geçmişe Yolculuk.
12 Activities for 6. Grade Turkish lesson
