Course Objective

With this course, students will be able to use internet based national and international information systems and computer based career counseling programs; the evaluation of these systems, the standards that the systems should have, and the use of the systems in the framework of ethical standards.

1   Use computer-assisted career guidance systems to explore career options and develop career plans
2   Evaluate the content and validity of computer-assisted career guidance systems.
3   Use computer-assisted career guidance systems to provide career counseling to clients.
4   Develop and implement computer-assisted career guidance systems.
5   Adherence to ethical principles when using computer-assisted career guidance programs
