Course Objective

With this course, it is aimed that students comprehend vocational choice process and role and functional of vocational guidance and counseling in vocational choice process.

1   Explains the concepts of profession, job, vocational guidance and career counseling.
2   Interpret the factors affecting the choice of vocation.
3   Explains the theories of career counseling
4   Assesses the career-related needs of clients.
5   Apply career counseling according to developmental theories.
