Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform the students about the Turkish states established in Eastern Anatolia.

1   Acquiring the information about the first incursions of Turks to Anatolia and their recognition of Anatolia
2   Acquiring the general condition of Anatolia and its surroundings during the Anatolian incursion of Seljuk's
3   Acquiring Malazgirt War and its importance with regard to Turkish Anatolian history
4   Acquiring the settling policy of Turks to Anatolia
5   Acquiring the first Turkish Sultanates founded in Anatolia and their impact on Turkicization of Anatolia
